Stone Buddha Statues at Ten-yoji Temple

You can see the Stone Buddha Statues when you turn left just below the top of Hotokeyama observatory and go down the path to the end.
In 2015, the town board of education investigated these stone Buddha statues and reported as below at the present stage.  It is said that there are possibly Twelve of Thirty-three Kannon, one of sixteen Rakan, three jyusanbutsu(thirteen Buddha) and four of others, and their executor is the same person, (sizes, materials, the remains of chisels), the produce date are also assumed the same.
It is also guessed that each stone Buddha was placed separately and later they were gathered in today’s place.  Furthermore, they are also painted on the Ema in Kannon-do Hall and more clarification is expected.
