Testimonies from Ms.Valencia　

Mrs.Valencia was taken into the "Comfort Hpuse"in the Dakoda 
area of Manila with two other women in January 1943 and forced
 to provid sex for Japanese soliders until the retreat of 
the Japanese army in October 1944.
  She says that a Japanese soldier at that time went so far 
as to cut my pregnant sister with a sword,take out the baby
 inside and wipe the sword on the handkerchief.
  She later got married and had a child.(She kept it secret that
 she had been a comfort woman.)
She says that when she dared to disclose that she had been a
 "comfort  woman",her son got angry saying "How do you dare
 to disclose that now? Get out!"He even said to her  "I
 want you to fight for the human rights"
  She gave testimony with tears in her eyes literally ,saying 
"It is very painful to talk about my past.It is as painful as 
if my heart was stabbed with a sword."
  She appealed to coopertion of others ,saying that "The
 National Fund"is  the deception and cannot be accepted, and that
 the Japanese goverment's official apology and compensation based 
on the decision of the United Nations Human Rights Comission is 
essential.
  Along with Ms.Valencia,Ms.Marques from "Rira.Pilipina",which
 is a group to support ex-Comfort Woman in taking actions 
themselves,was present and demanded that Japanese goverment 
settles  the past properly.
